A kilim senneh is very well made and many consider it to be one of the finest hand-woven carpets in Iran. The dominant colors are red and dark blue and common patterns are rhombuses, mir-i-bota or herati. The wool is of high quality. This Semi antique carpet is unique and extremely well made and with silk in the warp which helps the carpet to be smoother and denser. A fantastic collector's item!
Kelim Senneh are hand-woven wool carpets from the city of Sanandaj in the western Kurdish part of Iran (which was previously called Senneh). The oriental hand-woven carpets in 100% wool are called kilim and are both reversible, warm and dirt-repellent. They are easy-to-place carpets with traditional patterns that are just as suitable in front of a crackling fire by your favorite armchair as in the kitchen.
